Love at first sight..

It happens for real. .. love at first sight!

I never thought it to be true, until life made me meet you...
       I was chirpy, a vibrant hue..
You came beside and were so shy, I liked the mysterious you..

I sang like a Robin, sitting on a tree's branch,
And  you were a silent monk,
So calm, so patient..
So courteous and wise..

You'd daily stare me entering the room, late for class,
You were so studious but sat in the last row for me..
It was cute, when once you were caught for ignoring the lectures,and smiling seeing me...
You were scolded and I was nervous,
It became so hard when I was your crush was now known to all...

You were sorry and promised never to trouble me,
Though, I was a little annoyed, but wish I could have told you..

I noticed you, every time , when you were secretly looking for me..
I came late only to pick the seat, opposite you..
And, purposely left incomplete lessons, just for excuse to talk, and have you lend your notes to me..

Oh! Its been days, and I miss you, doing all that for me..
     I thought you'd change your mind, and come back and say you're mine...

Its first time.... falling in love at first sight!

It was valentines...
I finally sighed a relief, when I found, you were there at the last bench, waiting for me....

You were a pale cream..
And I a flaming red...
And now, I find you singing melodies,
And me, silently lost in fantasies....

Its first time... love at first sight!
